| Penny Stocks Daily Friday, August 27, 2004 Good Morning, We saw some of the lightest trading of the summer yesterday all around the board which will likely continue today. Barring any major decline today, stocks look to finish the week with their third strait positive one in a row. It appears that GDP only grew 2.8% last quarter, which is nothing major, but a little bit lower than expected. With 4% the first quarter and a possible pick up in consumer spending this quarter, and keeping in mind the huge fourth quarter coming with holiday sales and spending, we we expect to be around 3.8% on the year. This is very healthy, and the stock market should see it that way. Oil pulled back for a fifth strait day yesterday and the stock market did not react, pointing to a slowing of the oil/stocks predicament. The market will likely again focus on interest rates, and with absolutely no signs of inflation, a continued accommodative stance from the FED would allow the market to gain ground in a measured fashion. The chance that the FED will raise rates again next month is perhaps as much of a mystery as it has been since they began hiking again, and this should lead to volatility, especially after the republican convention comes to an end, and volume returns to the market. New Initiatives and Recent Developments We sold our entire position in SWYC yesterday as the bid met our ask. This was a quick trade for a 20%+ profit, although we realize that being as lightly invested as we were, it only accounted for a few percent in the overall portfolio, but still a plus. We may continue to trade this issue while things are volatile, their certainly is plenty of volatility, we do not, however, want to be buying anywhere above $.31. We have some cash now to add to any positions that come down to our bids, and we will likely pursue new initiatives the first of next week. The Portfolio Ambient Corp. The lower the price the less money they have to put on the line. When a stock reaches 50 cents or more you will see them lower to 2500 or 500 shares at a time. Only expect to get 5000 shares at first when sending an order because this is all they are required to provide. They will usually take a lot more but this gives them more time to sort through the orders. When you see a trade go through for 5000 shares you know that a day trader just moved and can expect more to come as they will sit tight on their order to prevent higher trading costs. When you see more than one 5000 share blocks going through at a time you can bet that there are more individual traders playing the game. Look for a bunch of 5000 trades followed by larger ones all on the same side of the board to forecast a rally or sell off. Traders then adjust the rest of their order up or down to finish it after seeing the stock move up on them right before their eyes. A good rule of thumb when getting out of a position at a preset stop loss price is to figure 5000 shares per Market Maker. So if you want to dump 15,000 shares, fire your order when there are only three MM's left at your price. Super low priced securities may hold an exception as with anything below $.005. Figure on no more than $250 to $500 dollars per MM no matter what. | Penny Stocks Daily Thursday, August 26, 2004 Good Morning, Light volume continued yesterday but came on in full force towards the end of the session. Oils ability to fall hard and fast clearly had a positive effect on the markets. We will continue to watch oil very closely. Todays attacks on several oil pipelines in Iraq will not disrupt supply to much, but we will see if it causes any spike in oil, and subsequent sell off in equities. If so we would look to continue pursuing opportunities in this quasi arbitration play. The DOW, NASDAQ and S&P 500 are starting to sport a bearish year on the charts and the key will be weather or not we can get above the previous highs, before the Fall sell off. We would be ecstatic to see a third week in a row of gains and hopefully this mornings lackluster jobless claims won't spoil it. We continue to see some positive moves on the OTC BB, although they have been somewhat selective. Trading activity remains nothing to get excited about, but we are beginning to see the number of issues fall. Within a month, many more uncooperative issues will be delisted to the Pink Sheets as their final time limit to file their quarterly reports will be met. Thankfully, none of those issues will be in our portfolio. New Initiatives and Recent Developments We initiated no new buys or sells yesterday other than watching for our current issues to meet our next buy or sell conditions. We will continue the same practice today, although we have one issue to be very watchful of, ATNG. The Portfolio Ambient Corp. The fact is many people were looking for revenues on this 10Qsb, and couldn't find them. Dr. Simpson is not a liar, or at least he better not be, and those profits he spoke of are clearly from ATNG's strategic partners. There were no acquisitions or 8-K's during this quarter to reflect any change in assets. The fact that they were able to pull off the profit that they did shows how "on course" they are. Remember everything is in the works and we will wait for the numbers from the 8-K/A to show Blue Kiwi's audit and results. Also, this new accounting firm has done an exceptional job given the fact that they were only around for 8 days of the quarter. They also managed the Blue Kiwi acquisition pretty quick, and we can expect the rest of them to come smoothly and rapidly, showing all of these numbers that have been boasted. We do not want to buy more since we are more heavily invested or one stock than we would like to be. Selling today would just be the wrong time if things do turn sour. We will wait for a significant bounce. Remember, this is not Enron, nothing has changed fundamentally. Going on SEC reports alone this company looks great, a true rarity. The terms of the acquisition are favorable and we can expect continued, measured balance sheet improvements, which is already essential balanced. ____________________________________________________________ Communication Intelligence Corp. We can only go on the SEC reports for solid fundamentals. Everything else is for the inexperienced traders. Thats not to say we can't profit from there moves, but we are trying to find a happy medium of cold hard facts, and the mix of traders interpretations of technical analysis and PR's, with our fundamentals as the equalizer. As the safe harbor statements tell you plain and simple, actual results may very. Remember to read these closely, especially from fully audited reports as they will give you insight into company specific factors that could effect numbers. | Penny Stocks Daily Wednesday, August 25, 2004 Good Morning, We should continue to see light volume today all across the board and feel stocks would be hard pressed for further rallies. We would love to see Oil come down for the fourth strait session but fear the speculators will return for a little bit. Oil in the low forties would be tolerable for the economy, especially considering the effects of inflation and how we payed a lot more for it in the seventies. $50 a barrel oil, however, for any sustained period of time without supply and demand validating that price would no doubt cause a dent in Joe Publics wallet. In other words, if we were scrambling to find it, paying more would be healthy, but when there is plenty to go around, why should we pay up. Technical speculation has caused supplies to ease, even as production has increased. Why? Because there is no reason to stockpile oil when you can get such a good price for it. At least we have seen the stock market begin to move a little bit on its own, rather than tracking oil on an intraday basis. As for the DOW and others, we would expect to continue back towards the upper end of this years widening trading range. As we get closer to October and November, when historical tax relief trends coupled with the Presidential election will inevitably take its toll on stocks again, we will try and pin point the high. When we turn downward again, watch for OTC BB stocks to sky rocket, mainly because investors will have to wait a full thirty days to bet back into the same stocks they sold, in order to take full advantage of the wash sale rule. Penny Stocks are generally short term plays, and a portion of their money will do well there, especially given the seasonality of Bulletin Board stocks, and their inclination to rise. What does this mean for our portfolio? We need to get and stay as heavily invested as possible, and continue to improve our averages in the stocks we feel the most confident about now, and be ready to sell on the pop. New Initiatives and Recent Developments Yesterday we added Skyway Communications to the portfolio as the ask came down to our condition of less than $.30 briefly. This will be a very short and light position, as there are several concerns to be aware of, but with a big potential for a quick move up. We also added to our weakest position TRPL as it too found our ask. We are now aging near 100% invested in pennies and we expect to roll out some profits soon. The Portfolio Ambient Corp. Today may qualify as many traders who have made some nice recent gains will spend a little more time with their family's. This doesn't mean that trading will be boring, and prices can move all over the place with light trading. It's just important to know when these days are because heavy volume in any particular issue may be much more important than on a normal day. | Penny Stocks Daily Tuesday, August 24, 2004 Good Morning, We saw a mixed market yesterday as the NASDAQ continued to pick up a few points, despite the rest of the non tech world posting slight losses. Technology has been more oversold than usual through this last downturn and needed to converge a bit. Futures point to a reasonable rally today mainly due to a third strait day in a row of relaxed oil prices coupled with comments from the FED that they are not concerned about the economy. They feel that the only problem here is energy cost's after we have seen another pick up in consumer spending. Oil in the $45 something a barrel range is a huge psychological level that should cause at least a one percent rally in stocks across the board and if it goes even lower, expect the stock market to rally even further. Volume and trading activity was again light on the OTC BB, but we saw positive action, and several gainers in the magical 100% land. Most of the share volume has been soaked up by the sub-penny land recently and we have seen the top stocks as measured by the number of transactions a day fall significantly to an average of right around 300. Heavy activity would be measured by several issues doing close to thousand trades a day, and we would expect to see that as soon as the summer draws to a close. New Initiatives and Recent Developments With over 15% of our portfolio invested in cash we have enough to initiate a new buy today with the usual 7% of our overall portfolio. We are looking to buy SWYC today but expect the price to come down a little this morning. We will only buy if we can get shares below $.30. This company has a patent that enables high speed broadband communications from Airport control towers to planes. They are heavily involved in homeland defense and have a great looking balance sheet and their income statement actually shows revenues. They have received quite a bit of funding recently including a dilutive 7 million from an individual investor from Costa Rica. They currently have less than 150 million shares outstanding and the funding will not add to that by any significant amount. They also received another million in non dilutive financing. This stock has fallen from its highs by a huge amount while the company has been improving. This continued further yesterday as a small Internet watchdog firm trying to make a name for themselves claimed that SWYC releases a false press release by apparently implying that the Costa Rican investor whose name is Dupont, was in fact some big investment fund. We think this is ridiculous and gives us a great opportunity to get a good price. We are fairly confident that nothing will come out of this accusation after reading the release and 8-K filled with the SEC, they clearly did nothing wrong. Again, we would not like to pay more that $.30 a share for this and if the ask does not come down we will wait. The Portfolio Ambient Corp. Press releases and abridged versions of quarterly reports are useless for your research. Go strait to the source, www.sec.gov for all of your research. There is no other place that information becomes available and this is the first place to start, followed by a visit or phone call to the company. Company websites are important to, but not for financial information or press releases. Use them simply to see how seriously the company takes itself. | Penny Stocks Daily Monday, August 23, 2004 Good Morning, Well it looks like the analysts that were trying to value Google at $60-$70 a share got it right, after a 2 for one forward split that is. At $110 a share are we seeing the irrational exuberance of the late 90's rear it's ugly head again, no. Google has made no announcements of a forward split, but we fully expect to see one soon. Wall street professionals, no doubt the same ones that got burnt the first time around, apparently have their heads in the sand. Anyone who has any interest in online marketing knows that 99% of their leads come from Google and 1% comes from everywhere else. This makes them currently undervalued in our book. Yes, we think the bull is back and it's about time. With a two week rally under our belts and this mornings futures looking positive again we are fairly optimistic at the moment. We do expect another sell off in October where we would like to see high readings on the Volatility indices, but can the Dow reach 11,000 by years end? Yes. Do OTC BB stocks have a chance to match last years gains? You bet. This all hinges on oil however, and if it does not come down like we expect expect, it could throw a whole new wrench in the works. We saw light volume on Friday in OTC BB stocks but advancers managed to beat decliners by a substantial margin. We saw an unusually high number of unchanged issues and have seen the total number of issues begin to pull back again. This is a clear flight to quality, and more and more stocks are beginning to look attractive. New Initiatives and Recent Developments Our portfolio is 82.1% invested in Penny stocks at the moment giving us plenty of cash to pursue new issues and add to our current ones, should any new buy points be hit. We have weeded out a couple of issues that we feel had the least amount of upside potential, at least in the short to mid term. We sold BSIO, and TFCT last week but still feel strong enough about their long term prospects to continue to follow them closely. We will likely buy these issues again if price comes down considerably. With a possible rally underway on the OTC BB we will wait a day or two to enter any new positions, until we see if this thing has legs, or if it is again a false breakout. The Portfolio Ambient Corp. We expect this to be a near term bottom and will hod on for our profit target. We would like to see some news shortly regarding Earthlink or other ISP's, or even ConEd or more electric companies. This company has the technology, but will need to see more interest for the stock price to move. ____________________________________________________________ Atng Inc. The right kind of numbers and this stock could move. It will be important to pay close attention, as it could come out at any time. Also keep the idea in mind that we could see a sell off it expectations are not met. We will be looking for the number of outstanding shares to be less than half a billion, otherwise, the current price may be warranted. If things looks as good as we all hope, we will likely stick with this issue for a while longer, but be ready to take at least half profits at our target price, and then put a stop loss in to protect the rest of your profits. ____________________________________________________________ Communication Intelligence Corp. We are right at our average trading activity, and ONEV is still quite visible to the investing community. Traditionally one looks at P/E ratios against historic valuations to judge a company's cheapness. With penny stocks, many have negative earnings which leave this number useless. What we need to do is find the industry that your stock is in and examine what the average earnings per share are. Many industries have negative earnings as the norm such as technology or biotech. When comparing a penny stocks earnings per share to it's industry average one must look at the number of shares outstanding and market cap of the stack and compare those to industry averages as well. Many penny stocks don't seem to fit in any industry because they haven't been created yet, in this case try and get as close as you can.
