however, without any major developments, such a rally could be short lived. Yesterday was a fairly weak session on the OTC BB and Pinks Sheet markets with respect to price action. From a liquidity perspective, the OTC BB was very active, with seven stocks posting more than 1000 transactions each, four of which are priced near a dollar or below. Only one pink sheet surpassed the millennium mark of trades per day, and it also surpassed all of the it's bulletin board peers, FGFC. Two stellar performances yesterday from two non oil and gas related companies, XKEM and PAYD, occurred as the major indices were also shifting the focus toward tech and elsewhere. Whether or not energy creeps back up in a big way throughout the unlisted world is uncertain today, as continued unrest in Iraq is bringing it back in focus, but slow Friday trade will perhaps overshadow any big moves. Today, we would try and focus more on individual stories, rather than any sort of big sector shift, which just does not seem to be there at the present time. |

Energy and commodity companies as compared to the instruments themselves, todays example perhaps exemplifies this even further. The higher price of the stock makes it a bit more stable and less risky, however, in the whole scheme of things, it still falls within the realm of high risk. The accelerated sell off yesterday may soon materialize into possible buying opportunities. The stock currently looks very attractive from a Technical standpoint, which means it's fundamentals may need an even closer examination. |

round a dime. This is overwhelmingly positive for the next possible spike. For now, our conditions have not changed going forward. FSRT After taking profits in this stock a couple of days ago, it seems to want to continue creeping ever higher. We have adjusted our conditions slightly, as our stop loss indicates that we do not want to lose what is already there, while still allowing a little breathing room. Keep in mind that if our target is met, we will gain only be selling half of the position. At that time, the light weight will allow us to add more to the position on a pull back should we decide that is the right course. MCDG Should yesterdays late day decline continue throughout todays session, tan for now, we will be ready to add to the position should our next buy condition be met. MOBL has a small piece of bad news this morning, and it will be interesting to see if the market treats it as such. A major decline would be disconcerting, considering how much good news continues to overshadow such a non issue. In fact, we would not be surprised to see the city of Sacramento do a complete three sixty and go with MOBL's terms. Nevertheless, our conditions are there for a reason, and if we were not as heavily weighted as we already are, we would almost definitely be looking to pick up shares today or Monday. |

Moving Average indicators can be a great tool for Penny Stock decision making, but not in the traditional way. Common technical analysis tells you to use two moving average indicators like a 50 day and 200 day and to react whenever they cross each other. In this strategy you would buy when the shorter moving average crosses above the longer one and to sell when the opposite occurs. Historical testing of this shows that there is no better way to lose your money as this strategy often brings you to the table way to late. A sell indicator will usually come once the stock has already plummeted and the best you can do normally is break even. We use two or three moving averages but watch for them to spread apart to historical levels. This will give more profitable signals and goes hand in hand with the MACD (moving average convergence divergence). A perfect technical chart simply shows some moving averages, the MACD and volume. We buy when shorter moving averages extend below the longer ones by significant levels and the MACD is at its low end of a longer term range, usually six months or so. This combined with the proper interpretation of volume will lead you to the right places to begin to perform fundamental analysis. |

continue to see a little bit of a slowdown in the Micro Cap markets. Activity is still quite sufficient, however, with both the Pink Sheets and the OTC BB seeing a combined total of five stocks doing more than a 1000 trades. None of these stocks, FGFC, XKEM, PTSC, CWPC and DCNAQ saw heavy trade as a result of any fresh news. A little bit further down the liquidity list, we see two acquisition stories, in NWWV and VRDM, bot of which resulted in an approximate 15% gain. FSRT, a current holding in our portfolio saw decent gains on news of Rahaxi Processing Oy. signed a sales and referral agreement with Oy Wike Ab Agentur, one of Finland's largest independent providers of Point of Sale (POS) and Electronic Cash Register (ECR) software and hardware. All in all, we would expect to see a similar day as the previous session with respect to volume as Oil and Gold both continue to be subdued. The next few sessions may be a good time to begin hunting for any possible energy or commodity bargains on both the OTC BB and Pink Sheets. A good rule of thumb, however, is to try and stay above a nickel. |

round a dime. This is overwhelmingly positive for the next possible spike. For now, our conditions have not changed going forward. FSRT We were able to take profits in this position yesterday as it busted through our target for half of the position. Please note our new conditions for the remainder for the position, which at this point with a stop loss a full dime above our cost basis, is pretty much all pay dirt. MCDG relative risk reward ratio together with our humble profit target may allow a condition in this stock to be triggered at any time as well. Also, close attention will need to be kept when their already late SEC filing comes out, and whether or not it is out when they said it will be. MOBL, in addition to great news last week of a team up with Cisco Systems, has held up nice support at the current levels time and time again. With their recent announcement of an end to some fairly heavy dilutive financing, we would expect the next spike to be a little bit more substantial. If we were not already this heavily weighted, we would almost certainly be looking at a new buy in this territory. |

When trying to determine the true market in penny stocks by looking at the level II and reading the tape, there are only two reasons that a market maker would give you a price that is in between the ask and the bid. The first is when a market maker feels the stock will go the other way and leave you holding the bag. The second is when the true market is obviously better than the level II shows when looking at the tape. You will only be able to get a better price than the average trader a tiny percentage of the time, but by always looking for it you stand a better chance. |

drumming on the DOW, however support at 11,000 did hold up, and micro cap stocks saw a somewhat different fate. Overall, the OTC BB has lagged the major Indices by exactly one day, as yesterday was a fairly severe decline from an overall persecutive with 8 out of the top ten most heavily traded issues posting losses. As we narrow this list down to stock s below a dollar, we see that only one out of the top ten made gains. Activity was still fairly high with the top five most active doing more than 1000 trades each, and as far as stocks below a dollar, XKEM and PTSC, two very familiar faces, managed more than 1000 trades each. VRDM was also close to the top of this list with about 700 trades and a reasonable loss. ABDE, CSUA, TIDE and BESV all also merit review after a very strong day yesterday in a weak market. |

FSRT This mornings press release may be seen as positive, but we will need to be patient as the stock continues higher, perhaps slowly. We do like the slow and steady accumulation we have witnessed thus far, which is why we only have half of our position slated to be sold very close to this price range. Any more potential gains can be realized with the remainder of the position. MCDG relative risk reward ratio together with our humble profit target may allow a condition in this stock to be triggered at any time as well. Also, close attention will need to be kept when their already late SEC filing comes out, and whether or not it is out when they said it will be. MOBL had great news last week of a team up with Cisco Systems. This is the type of story that generally brings in a ton of attention, so we will need to keep a close eye on this one today. The relatively large float, however, may keep the stock in check, for now anyway. |

Remember that trading on the OTC BB is far from regulated and not to expect immediate fills when placing an order. Of course trading volume in a particular security will affect how fast your order is filled but overall there is no way to guarantee that an order will be filled. It is still worthwhile to feel out the market in between the ask and the bid. Even if you don't get filled you will at least get a glimpse into who is bullish and who is not. In lightly traded issues it is sometimes hard to get a fill, even at an ask or bid price. Just sit tight and wait, but don't leave the screen with an order in. The slow execution can be an advantage for us giving just enough time to pull an order out if things turn the other way. |

which were not affected quite as much as blue chips, may be poised to move higher this morning. Part of the disconnect has to do with the Dow being dragged down by interest rate sensitive and more economic related type stocks. Nevertheless, most of the gains and action on the OTC BB came from Oil and Gas related issues, after the president of Iran sent the Oil markets into a short lived buying frenzy. Overall, we saw very positive numbers on the bulletin boards, and again, especially for this time of the year. Memorial day has passed, and although some may argue that the real vacation does not start until July 4,'th, it almost always shows up early in the Unlisted world, but not the case this time around. All in all, 11 stocks did more than 500 trades, and three managed over 1000 each. One of these stocks were priced below a buck, PTSC, which is again seeing heavy accumulation as major tech companies continue to fall in line and pay up due to a very significant patent infringement case win. Two bankrupt Pink Sheet companies below a buck also managed more than a 1000 trades, CPNLQ, and DALRQ. The struggling energy company and Airline continue to provide very active trading opportunities. |

When judging the spread on the level two screen with non ECN traded penny stocks, look for the true market to be substantially different when spreads are wide. The best time to get a price between the ask and the bid is while the spread is increasing. This is the most confusing time for everyone and although we rarely get prices between the spread, this is the time to do it. When spreads start to come back closer together, clarity returns to everyone, including the MM's. |

week. As far as finding any bulletin board stocks under a buck that did more than 1000 trades, there were not any. ILNP was close at around 800, and both XEKM and ARET did over 500 trades and showed very positive gains. XKEM flourished late in the session on Friday, and already looks to gap up this morning. ARET showed a more slow but steady advance throughout the day as it has done for the last couple of months. The next stock down the list worth mentioning is PAYD, which has been active for a few sessions now, and has Shown positive activity ever since the middle of May. Much of the activity has migrated to stocks above a dollar. Much of this is due to higher prices, as in the case of PTSC. So far this morning we are again seeing heavy activity, but most of the stocks seeing pre- market activity are above a dollar. |

Although we don't suggest watching for news story's from your companies every minute of every day, you do need to keep an eye out for very bad news. We never buy on good news and even more rarely buy on bad news. If you do happen to catch a fundamentally destructive news story in a stock you are in, do not be afraid to sell immediately. In the OTC BB, story's typically take from twenty minutes to two days to play out. If you miss the story be ready to take advantage of the dead cat bounce that is likely to follow. Most of the time you can get away with a small profit and then be out of the stock completely for the slow downdraft that will probably continue. We only buy on no news which hopefully gives us an advantage. |
