| Penny Stocks Daily Friday, October 1, 2004 Good Morning, Well, it's the first day of the last quarter of 2004, and although stocks look to rally a little bit more today on lower oil prices, it is a good idea to start thinking about becoming defensive. October is historically the worst month of the year, but as we have said before, it also tends to provide the biggest percentage moves of the year. Add the volatility of oil, an economy that is so scrutinized, that it has to prove itself, and a close presidential race, and we could see a host of opportunities present themselves. This does not mean to sell everything you own simply because historical statistics leave a 6 out of 10 chance your stocks will go down. Instead, we need to be extra selective, and step out of any issues that have the highest probability of declines. Most importantly however, we feel that being flush with cash would allow us to take advantage of cheap prices to come, and possibly ride an ETF or other such vehicle to some modest, but real gains, as we await volume to return to the OTC BB, as it generally does in November. We are specifically watching the NASDAQ, the NASDAQ 100 and the QQQ. We have mentioned that the NASDAQ has been outperforming the Dow for the last week or so. This is far from true, however, for the last couple of months, and the NASDAQ has not even broken through resistance, that was previous support, take a look. The DOW has been more stable, but still appears to be in a down trend for the year. A quick look at the Russell 2000 may give us an idea as to where the markets are going. First of all, we think the QQQ provides the largest percentage possibilities out of all of the most actively traded ETF's, and did we mention that it is the most liquid security in the world next to the U.S. Dollar. Now back to the Russell which has been leading the way for every rally and pullback since early 2003. We believe the Russell will find its way back to the lows found in May of this year, and not breech the most previous low. We feel fundamentals will support this, as long as Oil does not find a new home in the $60's. This would give us a decline of around 10% in small caps. Using technical analysis, we feel that with small caps typically being the most volatile, the NASDAQ should pull back by about half that, 5%, and the DOW, maybe half of what the NASDAQ is doing, around 2.5%. This give us three numbers to watch for as a possible bottom for this month, and subsequently the year. 9850 on the DOW, 1800 on the NASDAQ, and around 530 on the Russell 2000. For further confirmation of a bottom, we will look for a reading of 18 on the VIX which encompasses the S&P, and more specifically 25 on the VXN, which encompasses the NASDAQ. Penny stocks, and especially unlisted ones, tend to behave differently, and also tend to trade with less volume when the spotlight is on volatile blue chips. We simply feel that a few of our most heavily traded issues may follow the listed world and trend downward. We would expect volume to be light throughout the first half of this month, allowing us to be a little more relaxed as light volume will not take prices down to far, and may allow us to get some better averages. New Initiatives and Recent Developments We have been watching TNGO for another possible entry point at $.0159, and we almost got it. As we constantly adjust our parameters, we will wait for $.0155 now, as we feel that may be the bottom. We are also watching GZFX for a possible entry point in the mid to low $.02's, although we will get more specific when the time comes. We also still feel optimistic about ONEV, but would like to pay a little less this time around, we will wait for the ask to get to around $.076. We added to TRPL just in time a couple of days ago, although we will wait for our current profit target. We are concerned with a couple of our issues at the moment, namely ATNG and ABTG. Will will likely exit one, or both of these issues soon, but will wait for a little bit of a rally. The Portfolio Ambient Corp. We will likely be exiting this position soon as we have simply been involved a little to long and may be becoming married to it. We would hate to see a manageable loss turn into something worse. We think that a stop loss at $.002 would be the right thing to do, but will wait a day or so to see if support comes back. ____________________________________________________________ Communication Intelligence Corp. We will give it a while to settle, as yesterdays good news of the cancellation of their previously announced, although not released to the press, reverse split. Amazing how you have to look for bad news, but they have no problem announcing anything even remotely positive. After something like this it is a good idea to keep a close eye on SEC fillings. Watching TRPL trade yesterday, it is obvious that it will take a lot of shares to hit the market before the volatility goes away. ____________________________________________________________ Daily Tip The NASDAQ and S&P futures can be powerful tools to watch for market direction. Don't forget to watch them all day to see any inclination of strength or weakness. Arbitrage players control the difference between the futures and cash markets after figuring dividends and interest that could have been earned. Don't try to play the arbitrage game as it's already been played out, instead use these markets as additional indicators. | Penny Stocks Daily Thursday, September 30, 2004 Good Morning, Volume has picked up on the major exchanges during this recent two day rally, and as futures indicate, thanks to a decrease in the price of Oil. The question is will we be hoodwinked again and watch oil fall to $45 a barrel only to rise back to $55. We think there is a good chance that we will head lower from here. In our best guess, supply and demand for oil should equate a price somewhere around $38-$40 a barrel. As long as the U.S. and Asian economies continue growth at a moderate pace, we could see oil get to that price before the end of the year. There are plenty of economic indicators this morning to move the markets, and it will be interesting to see how they all play out. The NASDAQ has been outperforming the rest of the stock world by a significant amount, and we will watch for it to lead the way either up or down. We are still looking for a significant decline in stocks for the end of the year tax advantaged selling that always occurs, and we think that just a few more percentage points lower on the Dow will bring us there. We expect the end of the year rally to provide the largest percentage swing of the year, and if oil can get back to normal, it could be even bigger than that. We have been watching Google as a sort of irrational exuberance indicator, and at $130 a share, it's exuberant. We do think they will initiate a stock split shortly, and the support simply shows the underlying momentum in Internets and the tech industry. Volume on the OTC BB has been right in line with its moving averages recently, and we would expect to see a flurry of activity during October. November is historically the best month for penny stocks, and we will attempt to find plenty of bottoms in October. Of the top 13 most heavily traded issues by share volume, 11 are priced below $.001. This is rather high, and we would expect to see some of these issues doing reverse splits shortly. On an interesting note, the NASDAQ, which currently trades on the OTC BB, will be graduating to it's own exchange by years end. New Initiatives and Recent Developments We will be moving our profit targets down for the rest of the week and in to next week in order to attempt to become a little more heavily weighted in cash. We currently do not want to sell anything outright, as we are torn as to which issue would be the most advantages. We are watching a couple of issues for a new buy including TNGO, at $.0159, and ONEV at around $.075. We are also keeping a close eye on GZFX for a possible entry point somewhere in the $.02's. Should any of our new buy conditions be met, we will likely trade in one or more of our more "experienced" issues The Portfolio Ambient Corp. We think that being 50 million shares currently, and raising the extreme possibility of 500 million is nothing to drastic. We will however be looking for one more quick profit, where we will liquidate the entire position. ____________________________________________________________ Daily Tip When market sentiment is unanimous and everyone and their mother knows which way the market is going, it almost always goes the other way. | Penny Stocks Daily Wednesday, September 29, 2004 Good Morning, With data out this morning confirming that the economy grew by 3.3% during the second quarter of this year, and that number being a little bit higher than most expected, we could see stocks continue to rally. Without intense volume, and everyone wondering how bad the economy will look for this quarter, any kind of continued uptrend will be difficult. We could easily see oil move the markets as long as it is in this extreme range. Watch for the Dow industrials to move if oil goes below $50 by a significant amount. New Initiatives and Recent Developments We will continue to watch TNGO and ONEV for possible entry points again at $.016 and around $.077 respectively. We would like to become a little more heavily weighted in cash over the next few days and will lower our profit targets accordingly. With todays action possibly being positive, we will keep the same targets for today, but will likely lower them over the next day or so. | Penny Stocks Daily Tuesday, September 28, 2004 Good Morning, Futures point to a possible rally today after several days of declines may bring in some bargain hunters. We still expect the downtrend to continue, probably around 1800 on the NASDAQ. Oil has become more than a pest, and despite ours and many others belief that this kind of supply and demand imbalance does not exist, speculation has brought crude oil futures above $50 a barrel finally. We feel there is a strong chance that the psychological aspect of such a round number will certainly lead to oils retracement. We would, however become concerned if oil continues higher, and the makes $50 its new support level. At this point, we would expect the stock market, including microcaps to find new lows for the year. Otherwise, we will be watching the volatility indices for an extreme reading on the upside to find the next bottom, which may come within the next week or two. New Initiatives and Recent Developments We are a little bit more heavily weighted in penny stocks as opposed to cash at the moment, and we will see if there is any kind of rally today to take some profits tomorrow, or at least get out of one or two positions that we feel may have a little bit further to drop over the next week or so. With that said, however, we are continuing to watch several issues for a possible new buy. Specifically we would like to again get involved with TNGO, if and only if the ask falls to around $.016. We will also continue to watch ONEV for a decline of 20% or so to again add this stock to our portfolio. The Portfolio Ambient Corp. We will not be concerned unless CICI falls into the low $.30's, in fact we will likely add to the position at that point. We usually see a bounce from here back into the $.40's, but we will have to wait and see. ____________________________________________________________ MobilePro Corp. We are not too concerned because of the small number of shares outstanding, and the high volatility associated with such a small float. We will be happy for the opportunity to beef up the position a little bit, should the ask find it's way to a nickel. ____________________________________________________________ Daily Tip When judging the spread on the level two screen with non ECN traded penny stocks, look for the true market to be substantially different when spreads are wide. The best time to get a price between the ask and the bid is while the spread is increasing. This is the most confusing time for everyone and although we rarely get prices between the spread, this is the time to do it. When spreads start to come back closer together, clarity returns to everyone, including the MM's. | Penny Stocks Daily Monday, September 27, 2004 Good Morning, Oil futures found a slick all time high on Friday at $48.88 dollars barrel. We do not see any reaction from the stock market this week unless we get over $50 or below $46 or so. Otherwise we would anticipate a continued decline in stock prices on relatively low volume leading into October. The charts look absolutely ominous if you are long the stock market, and at first glance, may look like a bear market. A look at this years action on the Dow show a three year or so high reached in February of this year, and nothing but lower lows and lower highs since then. Whether or not we are or will be in a bear market soon is anybody's guess, but the typical definition of a bear market is when the market falls 20% or more from its peak. So far we have only came down 6-8% over all, hardly a bearish percentage. We believe that markets follow patterns, but not for long. Some very simply technical analysis could have caught our most recent low and high by simply drawing a couple of lines, however, now that it is so obvious and guaranteed, the charts will almost certainly throw a wrench in the works. We do not believe that stocks will find new lows for the year before they head back up, unless anything changes fundamentally with the economy or if Oil gets and stays above $50 a barrel. They will find a low however, and we are looking at the second to lowest low made this year. We also believe that a Santa Clause rally could reap the largest percentage swing of the year on the upside, and we could easily see the Dow hit 11,000 by January. New Initiatives and Recent Developments .We are currently 77.7% invested in Penny Stocks which is right around where we want to be to leave plenty of cash available to bottom pick in October. We do have a new buy planned for today which means be will likely be looking to take profits or cut losses in some other issues to keep enough cash on hand. We will be buying NEOM today with 7% of the overall portfolio, as it has come down to a price that we feel a little more comfortable with. Specifically we feel that $.066 is a great place to start, and we will likely enter our order early, in case the stock bounces back quickly. If it trends down later in the day, we are not concerned, just as long as it is in our portfolio by the end of the day. We would expect to become more weighted than 7%, and if the stock becomes cheaper quickly, we will not be opposed to averaging down somewhere in the Nickel range. Neomedia Technologies Inc was recently a high flier on heavy volume, something we typically stay away from. However, price has found a considerable amount of support at $.07, a somewhat profound psychological level that MM's seem to like. NEOM was incorporated in 1996 and develops technologies that link physical information and objects to the Internet, which is marketed under the PaperClick brand name. The Company focuses on developing and commercializing such technologies. It has also developed a patent portfolio covering convergence of the physical world and the Internet. It operates two business units that include NeoMedia Internet Switching Software (NISS) and NeoMedia Consulting and Integration Services (NCIS). Perhaps their most recent milestone was the announcement of a collaborative agreement with Intel with PaperClick as a Mobile-to-Internet Linking Platform. NEOM has a float of around 250 million shares and is more than a quarter insider owned. Their have also been some institutional bites. Assets out pace liabilities and this company has showed solid consistent revenues quarter after quarter. Profit margins are razor thin in this business, but we feel NEOM is positioned well with their patent portfolio. We have simply seen remarkable support at current price levels, and are ready to buy. This company currently has two nutracuetical supplements on the market, and have the ability to manufacture and distribute to the extent of fulfilling there anticipated volume. These two product are the fatigue pack, and the PMS pack. Info on these products can be found at Blue Kiwi's website: www.bluekiwilife.com. We would expect to see at least a few more acquisitions this year, as if 15 or so is not enough. We should begin to see a flurry of audits for all of these companies. ____________________________________________________________ Transportation Logistics International Inc. The major market uses volume, but only for stocks above two dollars to judge the most actives. In our world however, there are no measures in place to determine the real top ten liquid issues. As a result of this, no service that tracks OTC BB volume leaders is valid. We recommend dollar volume and number of transactions per day and until the world wakes up to this, we will continue to be in the dark. The only way to judge activity level for yourself is to compile an enormous watch-list, and sort by number of trades, or real time dollar volume.
