 The Company reported a net loss of $5,744,000, or $0.07 per share, for the third quarter ended September 30, 2008,
compared to a net loss of $7,154,000, or $0.09 per share, for the third quarter of 2007. The decrease in net loss in 2008
compared to the same period in 2007 was primarily attributable to a decrease in external services, including costs related to
manufacturing and testing of our cell products, as well as lower clinical trial costs. Total revenue for the third quarter of 2008
